AIM AND SCOPE
Aim
The Journal of Qur'anic Behavioral Sciences (JQBS) aims to advance the field of Decision and Behavioral Sciences by publishing high-quality, empirically grounded research that translates Qur'anic and Hadith principles into testable frameworks, measurable variables, and sustainable decision-making models. The journal seeks to bridge Islamic revelation with modern behavioral sciences to provide holistic, ethical, and sustainable solutions to contemporary global challenges.
Scope
The journal welcomes original research, empirical studies (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods), and Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR) that integrate Islamic revelation with general scientific disciplines. JQBS is committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and encourages research that demonstrates how revelation-based decision frameworks can advance sustainable practices, ethical organizational behavior, equitable economic systems, and human well-being.

Key areas include:
- Behavioral Decision Making: Empirical studies on how Qur'anic and Hadith principles influence cognitive biases, risk assessment, ethical choices, and judgment under uncertainty.
- Organizational Behavior: Quantitative or qualitative models of Islamic leadership, employee motivation, organizational citizenship behavior, team dynamics, and workplace ethics derived from Prophetic traditions and Qur'anic teachings.
- Psychology & Well-being: Psychometric validation of well-being, resilience, mental health, moral development, and character strength frameworks based on sacred texts and Islamic psychology principles.
- Sustainable Management & Finance: Behavioral models integrating Maqasid al-Shariah with modern financial decisions, consumer behavior, ethical management practices, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable business models.
- SDG-Aligned Frameworks: Research explicitly linking revelation-based behavioral models to UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Ethical Leadership & Governance: Studies on ethical decision-making, accountability, transparency, and governance models rooted in Islamic values and their application in contemporary organizational and societal contexts.
- Social Humanities & Community Development: Research on social cohesion, community resilience, family dynamics, education, and social welfare from an integrated Qur'anic-behavioral science perspective.

Methodological Requirements
To maintain scientific rigor, JQBS publishes:
- Quantitative studies: Surveys with validated psychometric scales, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), experimental and quasi-experimental designs
- Qualitative studies: Grounded theory, phenomenological studies, ethnography, and rigorous case studies
- Mixed-methods research: Integration of qualitative framework development with quantitative empirical testing
- Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR): Following PRISMA guidelines to propose new theoretical models and research agendas
