About the Journal

Focus and Scope Journal of Qur'anic Behavioral Sciences (JQBS) is a pioneering, peer-reviewed international journal that bridges the gap between Islamic revelation and empirical behavioral sciences. Unlike traditional journals that approach the Qur'an and Hadith from a purely normative or theological perspective, JQBS positions sacred texts as the foundational source for developing testable frameworks, models, and variables within the broader disciplines of decision sciences, management, finance, and social humanities.

We publish rigorous empirical research (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods) and comprehensive Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) that translate Qur'anic and Hadith principles into actionable decision-making models. By integrating divine ethics with modern behavioral sciences, the journal aims to provide holistic, sustainable, and ethically grounded solutions to contemporary global challenges. JQBS is strongly committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging research that demonstrates how revelation-based decision frameworks can advance sustainable practices, ethical organizational behavior, equitable economic systems, and human well-being.
